About the Author

I would say that I am an honest, sincere man. I love Jesus and our Father in Heaven. I am dedicated to seeking wisdom and understanding. I am captivated by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. I love and adore my wife, Audrey, my son, Isaac, and my new baby girl, Joanna. My family and friends play a key role in my life because they are supportive and at times influential.

I try to keep things simple because I want others to understand what I have learned. I grew up as a Baptist, going to church most Sundays and Wednesdays with either my parents and siblings or my grandparents. Church to me, like most young people, was boring, too long and pretty much like school. Does it say somewhere in the Bible to make church really boring so people put it low on their "to-do" list? Church: it's okay to change, you can change with the times, you can entertain, have fun. It is your job to bring in and take care of Jesus' sheep (John 21:16). The message is what should never change, as long as it is in line with God's Word (1 Peter 1:24-25, Hebrews 13:6,9)!

My Dad once told me, "With all the kids that I had, you were always the one that had all this faith." I read a story my mom kept in a journal for her kids that read, "Chris is so interesting, this morning he prayed it would snow and it began snowing. Then he decided the snow was going on too long and prayed for the snow to stop and it did!" Can you remember as a child how you would believe anything (Mark 10:13-15)? But then as you got older you moved away from what was truly right into the wisdom of the world (Romans 12:2).

I am not biased towards any one religion: I speak from my own life experiences and from what I believe is the truth (John 8:32). I invite you to follow me with both my love for Jesus Christ, and my seeking for wisdom.
